NC Farm to ECE Institute

The Farm to Early Care and Education (ECE) Institute supports the advancement of Farm to ECE programming by bringing together early childhood professionals, technical assistance providers, Extension agents, and community partners to share knowledge and build connections.

Participants engage in professional development opportunities focused on community outreach, collaboration, and mentoring, while exploring strategies to incorporate local food and agriculture into early childhood programs.

Hosted by the NC Farm to ECE Initiative, the Institute aligns with ongoing efforts to improve child health and education through experiential learning and increased access to local food. The initiative is led by the Center for Environmental Farming Systems (CEFS) and aims to build a future that benefits young children, families, and communities.
