Join us on Sunday, June 7th 2020 at Fearrington Village for the annual Farm to Fork Picnic, where the area’s best farmers and chefs are paired together to create delectable bite-sized dishes!

The annual Farm to Fork picnic is a celebration of our local food community, where the area’s best farmers and chefs are paired together to create delectable bite-size dishes that inspire and amaze. The event is a celebration of our local food community and the people who work so hard to bring delicious local foods to our plates year-round. Last year, more than 1,400 people, 32 farmers, 32 chefs, and 28 local businesses came together to celebrate our area’s vibrant local food system. The event also features over a dozen local food artisans and more than a dozen beverage producers, with live music, fun activities for children, and surprises for the whole family. Bon Appétit Magazine called it “the country’s best all-you-can-eat feast”! Farm to Fork diverts 98% of the event’s waste through source reduction, composting and recycling, typically generating only one trash bag for landfill.

The Farm to Fork Picnic is not just delicious, it is also a fundraiser for CEFS’ beginning farmer training programs. CEFS’ Sustainable Agriculture Internship and Apprenticeship Programs inspire and equip a new generation of beginning farmers to grow North Carolina’s local food system!

The 2020 Farm to Fork Picnic will take place at beautiful Fearrington Village.
