Farm to Fork 2018: Celebrate Local Food Year-Round!

The Farm to Fork Picnic will launch our year-round series on Sunday, June 3. A joyous celebration of local foods and the people who artfully produce and prepare them, Bon Appétit magazine called it “the country’s best all-you-can-eat feast”! We’ll return to the beautiful grounds of Fearrington Village, where dozens of our area’s best chefs, farmers, artisan producers and beverage providers will create a dizzying array of delectable dishes highlighting the bounty of the season. The Picnic also features fun activities for children, live music, and surprises for the whole family!
Sunday, November 4: Pop-up Dinner Featuring Jacob Boehm of Snap Pea Underground & Catering | 5:30 – 9 pm
We’ll reconvene on November 4 with a pop-up dinner featuring Jacob Boehm of Snap Pea Underground & Catering. Boehm’s monthly dinner events are the stuff of legend across the Triangle. The self-taught chef dazzles guests with a multi-course, hyper-local meal designed around a compelling theme, gathering diners in bucolic outdoor settings or dramatic indoor spaces not typically associated with fine dining. While specific details will not be announced until days before the event, we guarantee that Boehm will be cooking with seasonal ingredients at their peak, provided by some of our best known farm partners.

Farm to Fork is an initiative of the Center for Environmental Farming Systems and the WC Breeze Family Farm. Farm to Fork fundraising efforts operate under the auspices of the NC Agricultural Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization.
