The Center for Environmental Farming Systems is a partnership of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, and North Carolina State University.
The CEFS Research Farm (also called Cherry Research Farm) is located on 2,000 acres in Goldsboro, NC. It is a sprawling complex with six research units and various buildings that are used for workshops and trainings.
CEFS’ Small Farm Unit does not have a street address. It is located next to The O’Berry Neuro-Medical Center (neighboring property and unrelated to CEFS; for reference only), which is located at 400 Old Smithfield Road (NC-581), Goldsboro, NC 27530.

Take Exit 309, US-70E
Stay on US-70E Bypass
Right onto O’Berry Center Rd.
Left onto Old Smithfield Rd.
Immediately past the O’Berry Center, turn Left into Small Farm Unit parking area.
