NC Choices works with a network of partners to expand reach:

  • NC Cooperative Extension – NC State University and N.C. A&T State University work in tandem, along with federal, state and local governments, to form a strategic partnership called N.C. Cooperative Extension, which staffs local offices in all 100 counties and with the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. https://www.ces.ncsu.edu/
  • CEFSAmazing Grazing is a pasture-based livestock educational initiative that began at CEFS’ Field Research and Outreach Facility at Cherry Farm in Goldsboro and has developed into a statewide program.       The program includes producer workshops, interagency advisor workshops, and research and demonstration projects.   • North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Meat and Poultry Inspection Division enforces the North Carolina Compulsory Meat Inspection Laws, enforces the North Carolina Poultry Products Inspection Laws, ensures that meat and poultry plants subject to North Carolina state inspection produce safe, wholesome, and properly labeled meat and poultry products, and inspects meat and poultry plant products, practices and conditions and undertake enforcement actions as appropriate. http://www.ncagr.gov/MeatPoultry/
  • The Niche Meat Processor Assistance Network (NMPAN) – NMPAN is a network and info hub for people and organizations who want small meat processors to thrive.
