This virtual webinar was intended for restaurants and wholesalers who would like to begin the process of buying local. For the webinar, EmPOWERing Mountain Food Systems (EMFS) partnered with Tri County Community College’s Culinary Instructor to host a deep dive discussion on local purchasing.
In this webinar we discussed some of the challenges and opportunities restaurants discover when procuring local products. Laura Lauffer from the EMFS interviewed Terra Ciotta, Director of the Tri-County Culinary Program and former chef and buyer for numerous restaurants.
