The Temporary Farm Financial Analysis Coordinator will support farm financial record collection and analysis to contribute to farm benchmarking analysis in North Carolina.
Primary Purpose of Position
Farm Management – budget and account management
● Assist PI to gather data and conduct data analysis from research farm in Goldsboro, NC.
● Assist PI to gather farm financial data, complete farm budget analysis using EXCEL and FINPACK program (will offer training to learn FINPACK)
● Organize farm meetings and training workshops for farmers and service providers, prepare and present reports.
This position will be located on the campus of North Carolina A&T State University.
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
● Proficient in Microsoft EXCEL to conduct farm budget and record analysis;
● Excellent knowledge and communication with farmers;
● Enjoy working and interacting with people;
● Education in farm management, finance, and economics;
● Prefer 2-3 years working on farms or working with farmers.
Work Hours
25 hours per week, Mon-Fri, including some travel
Hiring Range
$20 per hour, 25 hours per week, February 1, 2020 to August 31, 2020
