Over the last year, and for some groups much longer, Pete Eversoll has led workshops with the youth groups of CEFS’ Food Youth Initiative to work with photography as a medium for storying their work and play. Each group approaches food system from the needs, resources, and assets of their community and offer to you images across the network of FYI: this is a glimpse of the communities and lives, passions and play of just some of the food justice youth leaders in NC.

There is NO COST to attend this event. Pre-registration requested and available online at go.ncsu.edu/FYIReFramingFood. Donations accepted (and gratefully encouraged) online via card or at the door in cash or check.

Funds raised will support future FYI outreach events plus micro grants to youth organizations for Food Justice projects in their home communities.

FYI is a project of the Center for Environmental Farming Systems and is funded by W.K. Kellogg Foundation and Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC Foundation.

Fundraising efforts for the Food Youth Initiative operate under the auspices of the North Carolina Agricultural Foundation, Inc. a 501(c)3 organization, tax id 56-6049304. You will receive an official receipt for the tax-deductible portion of your gift.
