Farmers need to protect customers when they purchase fresh produce from farms. Most food contamination happens early in the production cycle. This workshop will share information about the FDA produce safety rules, and demonstrate proper procedures to follow these rules.

This workshop will provide a guide for farmers to plan and respond to food safety issues. We will introduce a simple step-by-step planning process, and identify potential risks and challenges in practices.
