Annual Sustainable Agriculture Lecture
Each year, CEFS hosts an annual Sustainable Agriculture Lecture to engage the public on a variety of food systems topics. Previous speakers have included Slow Food founder Carlo Petrini; Judy Wicks of Philadelphia’s White Dog Cafe, founder of the Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia and co-founder of Business Alliance for Local Living Economies (BALLE); MacArthur Fellow and Genius Grant Award recipient Will Allen, Founder and CEO of Growing Power, Inc; Maya Wiley, Founder and Past President of the Center for Social Inclusion; and Fred Kirschenmann, Distinguished Fellow at the Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture and President of Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture.
