Join CEFS for NC State Day of Giving: Stronger as a Pack!

Mark your calendar for Wednesday, September 16, 2020 for NC State Day of Giving: Stronger as a Pack. CEFS is participating as part of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) team.

NC State Day of Giving: Stronger as a Pack is a one-time fall event focused on increasing funding for urgent needs, scholarships and initiatives that promote equity and diversity. If you are able to support CEFS during Day of Giving, funds will support CEFS’ work to promote just and equitable food and farming systems that conserve natural resources, strengthen communities, improve health outcomes, and provide economic opportunities in North Carolina and beyond.

Before September 16th

Share this CALS Facebook post. Be sure to use #GivingPack AND tag @CALSNCState and @CEFSpage. The college or unit with the most direct shares before September 16th will win bonus funds.

On September 16th

(9am-10am) Love of the Pack: Showcase ways you’re showing love or things you love about NC State. Post on Twitter and Instagram with hashtag #GivingPack and tag @cefsnc (Instagram) or @infoCEFS (Twitter). Post to Facebook by posting the photo publicly and tagging @ncstate, mentioning @CEFSpage, or by posting the photo as a comment on NC State University’s Facebook post about this challenge.

(10am-11am) Wolfpack Students Hashtag Match Fund: Tweet why you love NC State or what makes you proud to be part of the Pack. Use the hashtag #GivingPack and tag @NCStateCALS and @infoCEFS to automatically give $10 to our fund.

(11am-12pm) We are One Wolfpack Challenge: Post photos of yourself in your NC State gear. Use the hashtag #GivingPack and tag CEFS: @cefsnc (Instagram) or @infoCEFS (Twitter). On Facebook tag @ncstate and @CEFSpage, or post the photo as a comment on NC State University’s Facebook post about this challenge.

(2pm-3pm) Pack Pets Challenge: Show us the best photos of your Pack Pets (or farm animals) decked out in NC State gear! Post on Twitter and Instagram with hashtag #GivingPack and tag @cefsnc (Instagram) or @infoCEFS (Twitter). Post to Facebook by posting the photo publicly and tagging @ncstate, mentioning @CEFSpage, or by posting the photo as a comment on NC State University’s Facebook post about this challenge.

(4pm-5pm) Part of the Pack: Record a video clip of yourself completing the following sentence: “Being a part of the Wolfpack means _________.” Let your followers know why you’re supporting CEFS! Use the hashtag #GivingPack and tag CEFS: @cefsnc (Instagram) or @infoCEFS (Twitter). On Facebook tag @ncstate and @CEFSpage

(6pm-7pm) Wolfpack Students Hashtag Match Fund: Tweet why you love NC State or what makes you proud to be part of the Pack. Use the hashtag #GivingPack and tag @NCStateCALS and @infoCEFS to automatically give $10 to our fund.

(7pm-8pm) Wolfpack Time Capsule Challenge: Post photos of your 2020 NC State (perhaps virtual!) experience. Post on Twitter and Instagram with #GivingPack and tag @cefsnc (Instagram) or @infoCEFS (Twitter). On Facebook tag @ncstate and @CEFSpage, or post the photo as a comment on NC State University’s Facebook post about this challenge.

(9pm-10pm) The “Don’t Give Up” Spirit: Inspired by Jimmy V., give a shout-out to someone at CEFS who inspires you. Post on Twitter and Instagram with #GivingPack and tag @cefsnc (Instagram) or @infoCEFS (Twitter). On Facebook tag @ncstate and @CEFSpage, or post the photo as a comment on NC State University’s Facebook post about this challenge.
