This session is designed for Cooperative Extension agents and Small Business Center staff and focuses on the specific skills, marketing tools, pricing, and other business considerations that impact meat producers. The session is taught by Steve Tate, former owner of Goat Lady Dairy and an NC SBTDC Advisory Board Member, and gives attendees resources and knowledge to help meat producers build realistic business models. The session also includes information about Meat Suite as a market channel and the Meat Price & Yield Calculator as a pricing and cost tool. Registration is free, but required.
