Application Process

Step one: Apply

Complete and submit the Apprentice Application. We’ll review your application, and if approved we’ll create an “apprentice profile” for you that we’ll share with qualified and approved host farmers.

Step two: Seek out farm employment

Arrange interviews with host farmers. We’ll provide you with contact information for approved host farms. We’ll also provide your apprentice information to host farmers who might be interested in working with you. Telephone, video, in-person, and on-the-job interviews are all acceptable, but must be mutually agreed upon by you and the host farmer.

Step three: Set your course

Once you connect with a host farmer you’d like to apprentice with and are hired by the farm, we’ll work with you and the host farm to begin the onboarding process.

Rolling Approvals

Being approved into the program does not guarantee a match with a host farm. Getting approved means you can begin working with an approved host farm if you are hired by one.
