4. Farmland Transition to the Next Generation, Mar. 19, 9 – 10 AM
5. Diversifying Your Farm Sales, Apr. 8, 9 – 10 AM: COVID 19 has increased demand for locally grown food products. In this session, you will be introduced to three farm operations that pivoted to increase sales and promotion of their farm and products. 6. Agritourism as an Income Opportunity, Apr 28, 9 – 10 AM: Agritourism can bring a diversified funding stream to your farm. Thinking beyond UPICK and corn mazes, in this session, we will share regional examples of successful ventures including farm stays, school group visits, educational tours, and more. 7. Using Social Media to Promote Your Farm Business, May 6, 9 – 10 AM: You can expand your marketing reach with social media multiple online platforms while developing your unique brand. EmPOWERing Mountain Food Systems apprentices have worked with numerous food and farming businesses to ramp up online sales and marketing.
