Grower-Buyer Event 

This event brings everyone together to match up local food growers and local food buyers! Potential buyers meet and talk with prospective farmers and processors to create potential sales relationships. Growers at each table have 8-10 minutes to share product lists, photos of their farm, and samples with buyers.  Buyers have the opportunity to share their requirements for volume, insurance, delivery terms, and their specific product needs.

The meeting model is like a ‘speed-dating’ event where restaurants and providers will meet briefly and then move on to the next vendor! It’s a lot of fun and we’re excited that Western Carolina University is hosting us. Please join us in the Health and Human Sciences Building in Cullowhee for a reception and one-on-one meetings to learn about specific procurement and local product availability!
