COVID19 is placing new and unforeseen challenges on farm labor – getting employees as well as keeping them safe. NC FarmLink’s mission is to connect farmers to land using its online database that can be used by property owners as well as farm seekers. Both owners and seekers can develop and have full user control of online profiles that can be searched at the NCFarmLink.ces.ncsu.edu. Profiles can be filtered by county, type of farm production, and work experience. During this session, we will walk through the process and if time permits, allow participants to set up mock profiles. We will also share some resources on farm worker guidelines to enhance COVID19 control.
