Farm to School Working Group

EVENT ORGANIZED BY N.C. Cooperative Extension – Local Foods Program Team

Join us via zoom on Friday, April 3rd from 2pm-3 for a quick overview of Cooperative Extension/4H efforts with local partners to distribute seed packs and start guides to families with kids at home during school closures.

Counties already distributing seeds will share their successes partnering with their school meals distribution sites. We’ll discuss some basic ideas and resources for starting and have time to share about challenges and opportunities for making this work within your particular local situations.
