Presented at UPROOT: BIPOC Visions of Our Future
Our focus in Art as Method has been to create access to opportunities that stimulate movement and encourage conversation around community change necessary for an equitable future.
UPROOT: BIPOC Visions of Our Food System hosted community-inspired workshops designed to integrate local artistry with opportunities for NC residents to interact with research, art, and the food system. Hosted at NorthStar – Church of the Arts in Durham, NC in July and August 2024, these workshops were free and open to the public to ensure all populations that may be under-resourced were not limited in their capacity to engage with both research and art.
