UPROOT ARTIST TALKS
During Artist Talks, the closing ceremony of the Summer Event Series UPROOT: BIPOC Visions of Our Food System, artists were given space to voice their perspectives on art and the food system.
Artists shared their insights into the influences and inspirations within their artwork and how artistic expression can be a transformational medium when applied for societal transformation.
Attendees celebrated the closing of the visionary summer event series and heard remarks from artists included in the UPROOT Art Exhibition.
