School Garden Guides: Successful Volunteer Workdays
This guide is inspired by a series of statewide volunteer workdays that FoodCorps North Carolina organized in collaboration with the Corporation for National and Community Service. These statewide events were in support of food security, and took place as part of AmeriCorps’ Martin Luther King National Day of Service. These events gave clarity to the importance and uses of volunteer workdays, as well as the successes and pitfalls that arise while trying to organize and manage them.
