Research-Based Support and Extension Outreach for Local Food Systems (2013)
Produced by CEFS and NC Cooperative Extension, this document is a response to Extension Agents’ requests for “hard facts and sound statistics” that could be paired with more general statements about the benefits of local food systems. The information can be used by Extension personnel and others to understand the benefits of local food systems and to make an accurate and data-driven case for public and political support of these systems.
