This workshop, led by Carol Coulter, Adjunct Professor at Appalachian State University’s Sustainable Development Department and former co-founder of Homestead Heritage Goat Dairy, will focus on helping new farmers navigate the complexities of starting a farm. Participants will learn about land access options, defining goals and strategies, resource assessment, and developing a business plan.
