This program is for foodservice managers and supervisory staff in any foodservice establishment.

Join instructor, Kimberly Terrell, Family and Consumer Science Agent with the Macon County Cooperative Extension Office, as she teaches the SERV Safe course and facilitates the SERV Safe exam at the EBCI Extension. (Ginger Lynn Welch Complex, 810 Acquoni Rd. Cherokee, NC 28719)

Seating is limited.

Class begins at 9 a.m. and lunch will be provided. Exam will begin around 3:00 p.m.

Books can be picked up at the EBCI Cooperative Extension office. We will notify when ready for pickup.

* Certification is based on passing the SERV Safe exam and satisfies the North Carolina food code requirement for a certified food protection person in charge.

This is a one-day review class with the written exam offered at the end of the review. It is important to study before the review session. Items to bring with you the day of the class:

* SERV Safe book and answer sheet (bubble sheet)

* No.2 pencil with eraser

* Water and snacks

* Picture ID

Books are available to be picked up a week before the class so that you can be studying.
