Farm to Fork 2018: Celebrate Local Food Year-Round!

Thursday, December 6: Celebration of Southern Food with John T. Edge at Lavender Oaks Farm |6 – 9 pm

On December 6, we’ll present our final event of the series amid the fragrant setting of Lavender Oaks Farm in Chapel Hill with guest speaker John T. Edge, author of critically acclaimed  The Potlikker Papers: A Food History of the Modern South. A prolific writer and insightful social commentator, Edge is director of the influential Southern Foodways Alliance. This celebration of Southern food will be a sort of moveable feast, with dishes prepared by six prominent chefs at different stations.  Beverages from local craft makers will be featured, along with live music and merriment.
